Im really tempted by this as it was such a bad year I fancy trying wierd and wonderfull this year and have some fun!! so anyone got any tips please

Most of the old "odd" coloured corns tend to take longer to mature, as they haven't been subject to sucjh intense season shortening breeding...
Sure Jeannine will be able to give good advice...

Here's some I prepared earlier.. IE this summer.

I thought I was the squash lady.

Funny corn, actually I don't usually grow it, but I have just bought some odd ones, a blue that is good for pots and a red one that grows several small cobs on one stalk. T

 Regular corn I can tell you about but I don't know much about the coloured ones, I looked here cos I was hoping to learn!!
