Things are better
« on: December 25, 2007, 17:56:43 »
hi all hope you all have a good 2008, as a few of you know I had a bad start to his year and things came to an head when I lost my Father in March 2 days after my birthday, I must of been as low as I could get at the time and thought that things would not get better, but in September I started a new job and quickly got promoted 3 times in nearly as many weeks, something that as never happened to me before in my life. Glad I took advice from some of you and hung in there no one can replace my Dad but things at last are looking up for me and I would like to thank you all for your support earlier in the year.

Thank you and a happy new year

                        Richard.

My Mum died on 21st Dec., years ago... but the memories are always there, my Dad in January... even further back (1984)

Richard, great news from you, hope 2008 continues to bring you happiness.
Although it is 5 years come 9th Jan since we lost the "boss" after 50 years wed I still
think "if only" especially when we are having family get togethers (like yesterday at young Lorna's next door) but life goes on. I am blessed with wonderful children and the "boss" would be so cross if I didn't go forward.
Good luck for 2008.
