Fishing Blackbird!
« on: January 02, 2008, 14:53:34 »
Was admiring the birds in the garden, and watching a lady blackbird drinking from my shallow end of the pond when.......she dunked in her head and caught and ate one of my baby goldfish! :o :o  Then proceeded to go around the edge and grab another one!!
Never knew they liked fishing.....but on the plus side I have far too many baby fish so she is welcome to a few! ;)

And Happy New Year to you too Carol! ;D ;D

We had a Collard Dove skating on ours last week, was highly comical too, luckily the ice was thick as he and the rest of his motley crew have taken a fancy to the sunflower hearts in our feeder and are rather rotund! >:(
