A lil bit further still
« on: November 29, 2007, 13:48:40 »
Due to the pain of keeping spade etc in back of the car,it was decided that on top of clearing a new lot,  we allso needed a shed, so local Tesco now has a catalog from which a metal 6x5 shed was ordered,  So now a shed base was required,   This is now ready ,Shed arrives tomorrow So this weekend my cup runneth over   again
ps
The chairs for the shed are ready and waiting.

Exactly the one I got recently.  Took 4 of us to put it up - great fun.  I got my on internet for the total sum of £80. Love it to bits!

I never thought I would say this...I just love sitting in my summerhouse / lottie shed reading my gardening books having lunch of just a coffee. There is just something about the smell and feel of a good shed.  ;D
I hope you enjoy your sheds as much as I do ;)

i can see why you needed 4 people, Ive  kinda cheated with mine

I got over lenth joists so it can have a small veranda on the front

Question ? Did you use all 3 million plastic screw point protectors

Hmm aprox 6ft long  about 2.5 foot wide and 6 inch deep ish

Yes if it has an address, and your there to meet it. you can give a phone num and ask for the driver to ring before he gets there , its  to much for one to move but easy for two , im 62 and myself and a 11 year old wrestled it onto a sheet of plastic and dragged it like the ancient
 egyptions, but we did it

I have one like that - had it delivered to home , then took it down to the lottie. It all fitted into the back of our estate car, but can't remember whether we unpacked some of it. We ordered the base to go with it and put that up several days in advance. It took two of us all afternoon to put it together [we are not brilliant at quick DIY!] and I had to do the doors the next day as it got too dark!!!
