Wire netting
« on: November 20, 2007, 10:31:07 »
If anyone is in need of wire netting for fencing (or in our case vandalised fruit cage rebuilding  ::)) - try your local thatcher. They have to strip off the old netting and usually skip, before replacing with new.

We asked the guy doing a cottage near us, on the offchance, and this morning picked up 9 rolls of good quality wire(about 120 metres) for FREE  :o  ;D ;D ;D
- Feels like we've won the lottery  ;D

Great Idea. Plenty of thatched cottages around here!
