Cherry tree
« on: November 13, 2007, 08:48:18 »
I want to plant a Stella cherry tree in a part of the garden that is in shade by 3pm during mid summer, so its bit of a short day.

Good or bad idea.

our stella is in a good bit of shade ..we had our best crop yet this year, then we had to move it 'cos of the mad rain, it ended up sitting in a puddle of water, don't know what'll happen next year  :(

no problem, it'll be fine with that amount of sun - birds will be more of a problem  ;D

Mine is in a similar position and it has produced loads.
I didn't get to eat them this year as the birds started eating them early,
and my cats didn't bother trying to play with them (the birds that is).
