It's snowing steadily here, after all-day rain. What's it doing elsewhere?

Yes mother in law called me a while ago to tell me its snowing in brum.

In cambridge its treatened, but not got cold enough only 1.2degrees. We just have the crappy rain and high winds instead.

It has just been the worst sort of winter day here.  Steady rain, cold winds, cloudy skies - the sort of day where muck gets everywhere even if you are somewhere where there is no muck, where light levels don't get above dingy all day and the cold and wet are the sort that soak into your bones.  I have resolved not to let winter get to me this year but days like this must get to most.  I suppose it is alright if you are the sort who likes curling up in front of a fire but I would much rather be outside. :)

Bitterly cold rain here in North West Sussex most of the day - not ideal conditions to collect donations for local parish news  :(
If I ever get it all right - then that's the time to quit.

It rained all day yesterday, starting snowing around midnight and settled. I thought I may get  day off work - but no - melted by the morning. just cold, wet and miserable now.

well I've driven to and from work in thick fog for two days now.  Fortunately no snow, although it was snowing a few miles away on Sunday, but bitterly cold and very rainy.
