Boilers?!
« on: October 16, 2007, 20:16:50 »
Will be putting up my second greenhouse this year and was thinking about heating it the old fashoined way with a boiler, does any one know if there an off the shelf package or is it a case of finding a nice blacksmith to make one?

Also water pipes and brackets?

Any thoughts greatly received

You can buy kits for water collection and storage. However I used standard guttering which I secured to the 'house with strips from old lager cans.

Have a word with some of your local plumbers/heating engineers they might be dealing with someone that is having an old solid fuel boiler replaced for something more modern.

You might even pick up some old rads & pipework as well.

Cheers Tee Gee

Will try and ask around as old school water pipes would be just the trick
