Cars and fish
« on: November 07, 2003, 14:10:51 »
Hi,Tony. This will make people wonder what the connection is!!I like fooling people!!

Car is fine,I really like it.The colour(dark blue) is the only thing I would change, but of course  not that simple!Hubby has asked if I want a personalised number plate for it.I'm still debating;I think it's because he can't think what else to get me for xmas.He says "what do you get the woman who's got everything?" I disagree,of course, but then I can't usually think of anything either. If I let him choose, however, there is no knowing what I might get.Very risky!!

You do realise the speed at which the orfe grow? No pont in putting fish in with the ones you've got because very soon you will find they are filling the space. Also, what happens when they breed? Tony,be patient!! I think it is lovely to see fish with plenty of room. However,I wish you lived near me,you could gladly have some of mine!! As orfe get very boisterous as they grow you need fish that aren't nervous around them! Now that your top pond is bigger/deeper I would certainly move the goldfish.I really cannot see how the water could be different, but it makes you wonder.

Time for lunch,i feel.Back soon.

Well I guess then that it's settled, by the end of the weeked the only known living things in the bottom will be the freshly re-located Parrots Feather and the Orfe's!  All other goldie species plus the 2 tench (which I've not seen since late September) will be in the top!

I'll take a sample of water from top and bottom sections to the local aqautics shop and see what they think and then dependant upon results leave well alone until next spring!

***Sorry for going off topic fellow pondies***

I have the goldie/yellow 306 although having left only the rain to wash it for the past few months it would be difficult to catogorise the color at present! I think my reg: "M3 FAL" looks okay at the moment but I was hoping to persuade the ball and chain to let me have a BMW M3 to go with it! :)

Hope springs eternal!!!

Well,Teresa, that would be a first.Apartment, high rise ponds. The only room in my garden is upwards,so it would have to be a first floor pond.

No what I need is a fish contraceptive pill.Tasty of course so they all ate at least one each day.Either that or teach them the rhythm method.Any ideas how??

I think I've been eating that magic chocolate too..............

Change of plan - As suggested the Parrots Feather is now in the bottom but I've decided to leave the goldies in there until next spring and re-asses then!  They do seem a bit happier with a decent plant to hide behind so I'm wondering if that might have been part of the problem!

I did also during the move manage to locate one of the two missing tench who was happily hiding in the PF in the middle section (He must have come over the waterfall at some stage)  He's now safe and well in the bottom and at least for the time being he can stay there.  I've also made the waterfall from top to middle a lot less likely to be breached by inquisitive fish!

My suggestion for your reg: A10 RFE  - Would look great with the right spacing!!

This website has loads of registrations ending "RFE" e.g. Y10 RFE, X10 RFE, G10 RFE, G20 RFE and all for just £499 + Vat!
