What Cabbages

Hi All,  can somebody please tell me what cabbages i can grow for spring cutting, as i know it's about time to sow some, but i'm not sure which one's to buy or sow, ??? ::)

for the pointy types I like April and Flowers of Spring but favourite is Offenham - never grown the ball type for spring

we put greyhound in, loose for early but will head up later, they grow quite quickly as well, just watch for slugs  ;D

Windygale - I'd highly recommend T&M Advantage F1. I raved about it on a thread called  'Instant cabbage' on 08 September (in Edible Plants) if you'd like to have a look.

I love spring greens!

GM, i see what you mean they look a fine cabbage, just what i need,

manicscousers, i try some greyhound,

calendula, question please, offenham are they the same as the coppenhagen market,
 
i just thought cabbages was cabbages, but hey what do i know, ha!ha! ::) ;D

windy - offenham is the same as flower of spring - sorry it's just the way I wrote it

it, and copenhagen market are both heirloom varieties I believe
