self seeded in a row of beetroot. I want to clear the ground to dig it over but how can I when the insects are wnjoying it

Love it but mine (grown from seed kindly sent by Georgie) finished flowering 2 weeks ago.

I'm the same- half wishing it would die back so I can clear that bit of ground, but loving it as much as the bees!
