« on: October 16, 2007, 21:26:48 »
Did anybody try them ?esp the sarpo ones and did they come through unblighted
in this very bad year (as far as blight is concerned) and are they worth the extra money? I do not usually grow maincrop because of it but even the earlys got it this year .  so do sarpo spuds work?

Yes... we had a row in among 15 others and they stood up for another six weeks after we had to cut the others down.. some we put in later are still growing. Not so impressed with the cooking/eating qualities but will def have 3 kilos+ in next year as an insurance against another bad blight year.
