hi Emma, can you tell me how to look after the CARDOON you sent me please. It is very large now never flowered this year but it had a very shakey start it looks lovely so i do not want to loose it with or without flowers i love it,so i would appreciate your advice thanks Mary. ;D

All I do with mine is remove all dead leaves and top dress heavily with manure.

That's about the state my cardoon is in. I'm planning to let it die back, move it, mulch well, and maybe plant a few in the spring to replace the ones which didn't survive the monsoon.
