It's been particulary good season for Strawberries, such a treat to have them this late.

Some of my strawberrries have started flowering and producing again - but not that amount!!! We had strawbs, raspberries and melon for supper the other night - all home grown, but have to admit that the melon was only the size of a tennis ball, but was beautifully ripe and tasty!

Oh yes!!! Seeing the strawberry pictures I checked mine, which I haven't looked at since I pegged down the runners. Flowers and small fruit. I had loads earlier this year. I don't know the variety, but a local pub was throwing out a load of stuff the other year for refurbishment. There were about 6 hanging baskets full of rather dehydrated strawberry plants, so I rescued them, and 6 garden chairs and a table with permission. The baskets also had primulas and primroses which have spread all round the fllower border. I do like recycling.
