Elephant garlic babies
« on: September 13, 2007, 17:02:18 »
I've harvested the last of the elephant garlic and found little babies around the roots.  I've done a search on A4A and found threads from others who have replanted them in previous years.

Has anyone had any success?  I hate to throw anything away that can be used so would be interested to hear if it's worth drying them to replant for next year.

Try it and see. I've heard that they will produce bulbs, but that they take two years rather than one.
