climbing french beans in trouble

my beans( blue lake) have been very slow this year but they,d just got going when i noticed this has happened to some of them :'( looking around our plots
i,v noticed some peoples runners look very sickley while others are healthy some are only feet from each other. what on earth is happening

Try giving them a dose of Epsom salts with your next watering.

It looks like they are lacking some nutrients to me.

tim those in the picy are the good french beans but my runners are 100% as i have half filled 3 carrier bags this week sunday ,tuesday and today sorry but i have honest :P saddad yes it could be wind i,v put them facing a different way this year and the opposite row are fine. the wind blows down that way and it could catch them as it gusts round the sweetcorn it is quite a exposed site i think i,ll try some kind of windblock and see if it makes a difference thanks
