Hi,
The software is set up to automatically shrink pictures - making it easier for everyone to upload pictures.
Try uploading one without shrinking first, to see what happens.
Cheers

Having read this thread, I thought I would try it with a picture which is in original form after downloading from my camera.
I hope you don't think I am taking over your thread GW but I am interested to see what happens as I sometimes lose some of the quality when reducing the size.
Here goes then.
It worked but it took ages to download!!

The fastest and simplest way is to download this quicky from Msoft. Takes up no space and is contained in the menu bar when you right click on a photo in any of your folders.

If I remember right, Tim, I think it was one you first mentioned on here. I use it regularly, so easy.
PS. Like the suit, Sir.

The way broadband is set up in the UK is that all the internet service providers (NTL/BT etc) rave about their speed but what they quote is their download speed, i.e how fast you can pull something off the web. They rarely publish their upload speeds because they are both a lot slower and more expensive to increase. My Virgin (ex NTL) spped is 2Mb down and 0.2Mb up. With some of the faster downlaod speeds e.g 8Mb download the up speed stays the same i.e. 0.2Mb. Rubbish for when you want to send lots of 4Mb pics to your mother of her new grandson like my friend just did.....
