Food From Your Garden - It's a Readers Digest from 1977. My grandparents gave it to me when I got the lottie. It's a bit of a tome so I've only just started looking at it but it is fantastic! Covers everything. The only down side is the pests section recommends blasting everything with chemicals but hey, now we know better.
One to look out for in charity shops. ;D

I got one at Christmas fom my OH ,we now play see who can find the nicest cheapest pressie! He won hands down as it was only 59p from the charity shop!
And it is a good read if you ignore the chemical bit, bit big to read in the bath though I have discovered! :-\ ;D

I've had this for years. It's a mine of information, especially in the back sections which include masses of stuff on things like preserving, wild food, keeping chickens, beekeeping .... all sorts.
