We are in Meriden the centre of England.
Strawberries and Rasberries are normally popular with the children.
Last season we had a glut of runner beans and my little neice enjoyed picking them and preparing them for the freezer, labelling and dating the bags etc and miracle she actually ate them.

Whereabouts?  I am on Wragby Road - all the other city based yellabellies seem to be down Boultham - there is one other on Longdales Road but they are not on much.

Greetings from Northampton (twinned today with Atlantis).

When the rain cleared this luchtime I went down to the site - and found stetches of plots covered with standing water. Fortunately none of my cultivated beds affected - just one gooseberry bush sitting in a puddle.
