What a lot of Essex girls :-)

1/2 a plot (shared with a friend) and my back garden just outside Harwich, North Essex.  Lotty small with no water but friendly.

Two plots on Colchester Road in Ipswich - Pride Of Angilia - in football terms at least ;)

Seems a well organised site with a good mix of people young and old, who have all been very friendly.

Off Histon Road in Cambridge. Ace site, really friendly and laid back. Waiting list now for the first time in years - when I got mine three years ago I was expecting a three year waiting list as it is for the council plots - it took three days! Hi, Ceratonia - your strawberry cuttings have gone a bit mad and are fruiting for the second time this year.
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

Hi Everybody in the Eastern Region, I Live and Garden in Gorleton-on-sea, East Norfolk,I have  2 allotments, One in full cultivation, the other is a 'work in progress, experimental plot, both are Organically Managed, with 4foot wide beds, some slightly raised, with permanent paths, so I do not stand on my growing areas. Mostly run on a No-Dig, or Minimum cultivation style, with mulches, some living! I use Globe Artichokes on the North side to provide a wind break, Very effective, and edible! an unheated, 8' x 6' greenhouse, mostly polycarbonate from skips, I am a fervant Re-cycler and Composter.
Have Fun In Your Gardening, Don't Expect Success In Everything, or You Will Be Disapointed, It's All An Experiment!!

Hi Emma Jane, we're on a site in Springfield.  Good to see you're still a regular here - I used to visit the forum a lot a few years ago (think we pm'd a few times?) but have been busy with kids so don't get as much time, just pop in now and again.  Clare
