neglected mine this year, only got them in the ground yesterday, and definately not pencil thickness!

Should still be ok though as ive got about 40, and thats plenty for me and mine.

I planted out the rest of mine on the lottie yesterday, the rest of them are coming along nicely.  ;D ;D ;D

good to have something doing ok, isn't it, ck..this is half of them, they have two rows of peas between,
david R, ours were pencil lead thickness when we planted them, I always think they do better in the ground than in a pot  ;D

Mine popped off this mortal coil whilst I have been housebound.  Number one son has sown me some more so I will look forward to a crop of spring onion sized leeks.  :-\

would'nt worry, probably catch up. Mine were in peat modules since mid march! Half got completely grazed by slugs but re-grew so yesterday could'nt tell which they were  :D
