That part of Oxford always had a reputation for flooding, but I grew up in the city, and never saw anything remotely like that.

My thoughts go out to all of the people affected by the floods.  I can't imagine how awful it must be.  When I see the pensioners crying on the news, it breaks my heart.  I've donated through the Red Cross (www.redcross.org.uk) in the hope that I might be able to at least help someone replace something.

Good luck to those here who've been affected.
