Caught these two  "at it " in the backgarden the other day !  :o

Must be the season Di :D  I had two exactly the same hovering over my pond yesterday, but I wasn't clever enough to capture them on film.  Well done :)  I wondered what they are.  They are not dragon flies are they as they are too small.   Would they be damsel flies?

PS  Strange how they 'do it' on the move :D

Amazing aren't they ? They are Large Red Damselflies. I think the The Common Blue ones are much prettier !

We have lots of the blue ones doing what comes natural over our pond. They do look wonderful and the kids adore them.
