Garlics now
« on: June 09, 2004, 12:42:14 »

Pulled my Early Wight garlic today for a couple of reasons.  Firstly, the garlic farm said it should be ready in May - tis now June, secondly they were sooooooooooooo rusty I was concerned that the bulbs would be useless under the ground, and thirdly.....got the blasted white rot like Tim and have lost all of my shallots so wanted them out before I lost them to that.  As you can see, the rust hasn't harmed them and the white rot doesn't seem to have gotten to them yet.  They are a good size and I am thrilled!  ;D
