Topic: solar pumps

I was thinking of putting a pound on my allotment but obviously on most alloment there is no electrics.
I was wondering is there any solar powered pumps

There are definitely solar powered pumps available, some of the cheaper ones aren't very robust, but the only bit of advise I have is that it's best to go for one where you can site the solar panel away from the pond, as you should have some shade over your pond and this compromises how much power the panel can generate.
