Bottle hold up net feeder fingies
« on: June 22, 2007, 16:36:16 »
My netting was covering my cabbages and the next row needed netting, so I stretched the netting over and put the stones down to hold it up, but there was little room to grow. So I combined some ideas off of here, I put a 2L bottle upside down, cap off and bottom cut off and filled it with a few stones to weigh it down, this holds the net up and also acts as a feed to the roots. Its probably already done but I was proud of the result.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

we hold our netting up with varying sizes of cane, topped with either Schw***** tonic bottles (to tell everyone we drink a lot of G&T) and beer cans (to tell everyone we also drink beer).  we my these on top of all our canes, they rattle around in the wind and hopefully help keep the skyrats away.
