Teeny tiny courgettes!
« on: June 02, 2004, 11:29:34 »
It has begun - I have courgettes!! They are currently about 1 cm long and very beautiful.  I also have lots of flowers on some other plants, all male.  Should I be picking these off for some reason? I am such a proud parent!

Well Done! Seeing the results of your hard labour is great isn't it? :D

Baby peppers!  I am soooooooooooooo behind!  When everyone was saying they were growing peppers and squashes early on in the year, I thought to myself, too early, plenty of time, don't worry Emma, yours will catch up, and now.......my peppers are just a couple of inches high!  >:(  Oh well, I have flowers on my toms so that is my little ray of sunshine.  :)

Debs - don't take Phil's remark too seriously. Unless he meant that the roots were too close to the manure without compost between. How would he know?? = Tim

I was picking up on EJs comments about knotting booties in the message above.

It was "humorous"  :( but I do not intend invoking the voting option on that!!!!
