would you thin the fruit on this tomato
« on: June 30, 2007, 16:18:00 »
I'm a bit worried about this tigerella tomato, can the plant keep up with the fruit or should I stop it, pull off half the fruit or just leave it to it, your advice will be greatly appreciated  :)

yes, our tumblers do, as well..it's just these are supposed to be full sized tomatoes, never had this much fruit on them before, and it's only the one plant, the one next to the mad golden sunrise which is doing similar   ;D

If there are too many toms on the truss they may pull away from the main stem when they get bigger and heavier.

Just use some string to support them before that happens.Dont pull any off the truss, thats would be a waste.
