I drove past.  I didn't stop.  I kept myself under control.  But I bought a pair of shoes in another shop, and now I have a lovely box, with a green lid - just the right size for ALL my seeds.

Not available in Wilcos in Cheshire.

Not that I need any more seeds, but I did pick up some barbecue skewers in the fight against the fat pigeons.

And one or two other vital bits & pieces.  Honest, really vital.
is it in the sale?

They were still full price when I went in on Wednesday. I can't get in until Monday either, but who knows they may be down by 75% like they were last year.

Well I went.  I said to OH as we went in, "Well they're half price, but they were buy one get one free earlier anyway, so what's the difference?"  "It means you only need to buy one" he replied.  Silly man - of course I did - plus another 10.  And I only left it at that because he was starting to look a bit bored, stood there in the aisle with nothing to do.  ;)

Had to go into Sutton today and guess what. Well I never, I just got dragged into the shop by some extra terrestial force. Straight to the gardening sectin. 6 packs of Aquadulce broad beans. ( they have done so well this season that I couldn't resist them). Sweet corn for our Bunjy, Tender and True Parsnips. and Shirley Tomatoes.. We also got 3 arches to support my enviromesh. Will post a pic in the next few days when Tony has sorted out how to put them up. Just couldn't wait for the 75% off day.lol

I had to go to Wilko today to buy a beer kit for DH, and guess what, I couldn't resist walking down the gardening Aisles.
I popped into Wilcos today and got a little carried away!!

I got 21 packets,  I bought psb, cauli, beetroot, 6 tomatoes (inc. Italian) 2 cucs, beetroot, carrot (fly resistant), kohl rabi, pumpkin, onions etc etc.

Also got some rooster poo was about £2.49 or something, a 2l sprayer £3 for spraying the rhubarb water that we have just made for spraying the brassicas, a spare £1.99 watering can, so 2 people can water at the same time, a tent (not for camping out at the allotment, I’m not hat keen) but at £6.99 you can’t grumble. Oh and the real ale homebrew kit!!! For those times when you need to relax after spending the day digging ::)

Still in the plot   36 Leeks, 1x rows parsnips, 2x  rows chard, psb, broccoli, 5 rows garlic, 1 row swede, lots of onions - started in rows, but the birds had them and now they are random!!
