Topic: unwanted faxes..how do we stop them ?

since we changed over to virgin media, the internet service has improved 200%, trouble is, we changed our phone number and got an old business line
we get 6 to 8 faxes per day, some at unearthly hours
we've registered with the fax preference service but woud like to be able to mess their lines up as we have to get up , sometimes 2 am, as ray's mum's ill and our daughter was worried about having another miscarraige
we still have another 10 days before we can ring up and complain, any ideas, folks ? ???

Put a phone on your fax line then when it rings bang the hash key as quick as you can and keep tapping it. I have heard it throws their software in to meltdown.
