Who needs air fresheners
« on: May 24, 2007, 07:49:25 »
A nice warm night, so I left the bedroom windows open. When I woke up this morning I complained that the airfreshener was a bit heavy. There ain't one she said!

I traced the smell down to a rambling rose which is at least 50m away. Yesterdays sun had brought it into bloom and the scent was working overtime.

Name of the rose, Pauls hymalayan musk.   If you have not got one, get one soon,  It needs a bit of room but worth it even though it only has one good flush.

That sounds good.  We've got two huge flowers on the cordyline on our patio, just under my window. The scent is very heady, sweet and strong.
