It certainly is a lovely time of year, Here in dorset all the verges and hedgerows are full of cow parsley and (red?) campion in full bloom, with elderflower not far behind.

May is perhaps one of my favourite months. Weather permitting of course!

Thanks folks for your nice comments.  It is a lovely place for a short walk, summer and winter.  It is the home of the Earl of Home son of the late Sir Alex Douglas HOme, one of our Prime Ministers of recent time for those old enough to remember.   ;) ;)
