big lot of wood
« on: May 19, 2007, 14:27:55 »
we've been given lots of 4', 5"x4" sleepers, 300 of them, by a company as we're going to make raised beds for disabled plot holders ..
we haven't even got the fencing around the new part yet..still, we have to take what we get when we get it..
it's nice to know companies will support these things if they're asked  ;D
mind you, they are used  ;D

It may be best if you could hide/cover them in some way, I have a few on my plot and was told a few weeks ago that to have them on your plot/garden is now illegal under some mad EU law because of the way they were treated.

The ones in the picture are untreated, so manicscousers is safe.

I've got some of the older treated sleepers, so that's a timely warning, thanks!

Wow

I am very very jealous.  What fun I would have with all that wood!

You will have good muscle tone when you have shifted and used that lot!

Good luck!
