How does this happen?

I've been planning for when I get a lot in a few months and suddenly I have 2 types of tomatoes and 2 cucumber plants to go out, I need to dig a trench for peas and have dug up half my garden.

How did this happen, I was only going to try a couple of bits while I waited for a plot  ::)
