Try putting a "wanted" advert on your local freecycle site- I gave lots of pond plants away when I was clearing mine out a few weeks ago. Sorry, don't know about the seeds!

I found some pond plants in Morrisons, quite reasonably priced (well I thought so).

They had 'bull rushes', mini looking bullrushes (forgotten the name sorry), lots of different water lillies, irises, grasses etc.

I got a Nymphaea Alba hardy water lily complete with basket, food and stones for £3.49 - could have just got the plant for £1.99.  They also had some 'value' packs with a few plants in.

Didn't have a lot of luck When i joined freecycle recently i got bombarded with emails, so many infact that they blocked my email in-box. maybe i ticked a wrong box??? I hadn't even placed any requests.
So i cancelled!!

Don't know if they all wotk in the same way, but with our local freecycle you can sign up for a "digest" of emails, so you only get a couple each day.
