I did a second sowing on 24/4 and they are only just poking through i'm I getting a bit late for these really?

Nah...
Early on most veg just means they grow quicker... the only problem you might have is if it gets too hot/dry but metcheck seems to think we are in for a cold wet May again!

Good some rain just what my plants need. I planted my toms out and they looked as if they were dying.
