Rampant coriander!

Moved a small row of coriander from down the plot to a raised bed about 3 weeks ago, it has subsequently gone to seed. Thinking of cutting it back to 2" or so ab ove ground level and let it grow again - is this ok or once it's gone it's gone????

Didn't like the move, did it?
You can
theoretically
do that 3 times. But don't wait till it flowers.
Keep it cool to slow seeding. = Tim

Think coriander is annual, so once it has gone,....

But it hasn't gone?? Worth a try? But still sow regularly to get the best results.
But tell me one person who
actually
achieves continuity with this or any other salad/veg. = Tim

Jerry, if any of what you cut is useable, you can always chop it and freeze it in ice cube trays with a little water. Then add coriander ice cube to your curry. You hardly notice the difference! ;D

You could always let it go to seed and save and use the seed in your curries. Wonderful when roasted and then crushed. And I am sure some chefs use the stems when they make bouquet garnis (have no idea how to spell that, but you know what I mean....a bundle of herbs!) ;D

btw - the root is as often used in cooking as the leaf??
But it seems a bit terminal to sacrifice a whole plant for a bit of root! = Tim
