I am not sure which is the worst, pigeons or slugs and snails.

I think pigeons will destroy any soft new growth once they`ve found a
new row to start on. I think they watch me on the plot and wait `til I`ve gone
home.

I net almost everything after huge losses in the early stage, and leave bits of
wire sticking up where net is attatched to supporting frames so they can`t find
a perch.

I also have pheasants.  ::)
