Melianthus major in flower

I grew Melianthus a few years ago, but it never flowered. These pictures were taken in Regent's Park on Easter day.

They are really fabulous! The foliage is beautiful, too. How tall are they, please dandelion? (Great pics, btw  :))

Qyite tall, about 5 ft. It is primarily grown for its foliage, but I think the flowers look stunning too!
