Ooooops silly me.
« on: August 18, 2010, 18:32:45 »
I've just ironed a denim shirt that I wear for gardening & I found some purple queen seeds in the pocket. Are they doomed after  40deg wash ::).

Life is too short to iron....

(After a 40 degree wash & a hot iron I think they might be past their best, but there's only one way to find out!)

What is ironing? ;D

I would that thought they could stand the 40c but not sure that the detergent would have done them any favours.  I do not think they will like being dried out again and it is rather late for a crop, suggest a bucket so you can bring them inside.  If they do germinate it will be amazing.

I think it's too late (in the season) to sow them now... at least it wasn't a £5 or £10 note...  :-X
