Hi BB, it's not a repeat of the prog that was aired on 'normal' telly a year or so ago?  It was fronted by an ex radio dj, can't remember his name.... oh yeah, Simon Mayo i think.

Will check it out tho', anything about lotties on the telly has gotta be a good thing  ;)

I remember the uproar about this one - it started, to much excitement, then the Beeb pulled it after about two episodes saying that viewing figures weren't very good (they scheduled it during the day when people were either at work or on the lottie, d'oh!), Then they started showing it again, only no-one told me and I missed the whole thing.

There we are, potted history, with just a hint of bitterness.  >:(

I quite enjoyed them - but wasn't so keen on Simon Mayo.  Some of the characters were interesting - the London Shed was fantastic - worth watching just to see it.

Well I enjoyed that.  Simon Mayo lends nothing to the program at all, and I love Terry Walton from the Jeremy Vine show.  Good to see how people do things, being nosey and checking out how plots look and what they get up to.  Very sociable those 2 sites.  If they came to ours, they would be lucky to ever find anyone there!

Interesting choice of characters; took an instant dislike to one of the Welsh allotmenteers (tall man, grey hair, took on a plot when he was 11 which is a very positive achievement) think he might have been the Jeremy Vine man.

It was great to be nosey about other people's methods, that's fer darn sure! I always feel a bit cheeky walking around our site and peering over fences! ;D

OH was very good at sitting through this and we had a jaw-drop and a laugh over the comments about women allotmenteers one of the interviewees made! ;D ;D ;D

Bugger!  Forgot about this  :( >:(  Will have to set the V+ to get the rest of the series.
My allotment blog Plot326.  In it's infancy at the mo but in time it'll grow.

Well I enjoyed it too - it amazes me how many different ways people plant things but think I am just nosey

OH watch but think it was only because I had to endure him watching 2 different football matches at the same time  ::)

looking forward to tonight's prog
