Hi Jeannine,
i call them tigers, but the seeds came from the melons shown, they came from me via a friend in canada.

Keep meaning to mention - planted mine the evening I got them (2nd April) & one was up by the time I got home from work on 4th April!
No sign of the other one yet but I suppose there's still time.
Anyway - I only need one to win! ;D

You hoooooooooooooooo,
no emails emma, although my spam filter is set to ultra high, send another and i'll stick you in my "friendlys" How was the egg ;D.

I have kept the biggest seeds :P, the prize for the winner will be chilli related, all will be revealed.
Remember its the size not the weight, all melons must be photographed with a tapemeasure etc, as weights can be tampered with  ;)

All my melons, including the tiggers, germinated perfectly and grew on well - until I put them outside. They were eaten within 24 hours. Gutted ain't the word.  :'(

Woody, if you get any more seeds, I'd be delighted to try them again next year.

You'll find me outdoors with a torch, a pith helmet and a blunderbuss.

Slugs, you have been warned!    >:(

Mine did really well to start with and seemed to get going outdoors quite happily. Then the rain settled in with a vengence and the stems got snapped after they blew over in the wind :'( Was totally gutted, especially as I thought I had weighted everything down properly. :(
