strawberry plants in aldi

I know it's a tad late for this year but, if anyone's interested, aldi's getting strawberry plants, 6 for 2.99 tomorrow (thursday)..might not get any fruit this year but might make good ones for 2008  ;D

just bought 6 beautifully healthy plants, honeyeye, anyone grown them before, oh, by the way, they were 2.99  :)

I got 5 different types, a quick googel, 2 Earle's, 2 mid, 1 late, and one other with no name, but all good strong plants going in this weekend.

I got a pack as well - just could'nt walk by such healthy  - and cheap looking plants!

you lucky people!
was going to go to our local aldi.........forgot..........and when i phoned them at dinertime thurs was informed that all the strawbs had gone!
think everyone in yorkshire must be watching this thread.....lol
still..............in a few weeks im sure lidl will follow this offer...........ill be in the carpark with a tent next time.........lol
