hiya hoppy 8)

I don't know if they actually cause mouth ulcers but they'll certainly exacerbate any predisposition to them because of their acidic content.....they certainly do that in peeps who suffer from arthritis & make it flare up. Now that would be terrible  :(  what a horrible tomato-less life to look forward to :'( :'(

I've got arthritis and I don't care  ;D  bring on the tomatoes and the pain killer

I didn't know that about tomatoes and arthritis, not going to tell Bearded Wonder, I'll watch and wait first- he's a bit of a hypochondriac these days.
Smile, it confuses people.

If you have sunburn, cut a big ripe tom in half and rub the affected area with the flesh.  The juicy flesh soothes the burn quickly.  Don't know why, but my old dad swore by it!  ;D

I  know when I have cold sores I cut a slice of tomatoe and rub it on the affected area - it heals far quicker and eases the pain.

Good grief - I thought that I was made sowing about 2 dozen types - all the while wondering where the heck I was going to grow them all.  There goes the rotation plan - its looks like its going to be Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes
If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning....

I cannot believe my luck, I registered with A4A today and as a working GP have learned allsorts of tips to get rid of patients to cure themselves using tomatoes. Maybe I should add them to my website! :-\
