shed-tastic
« on: March 19, 2007, 13:43:51 »
after months of scouring the free ads and eBay in vain, my neighbour offered me a shed on Saturday ;D
one of the metal ones that the council replaced the old asbestos ones with –
he keeps chickens but because it's metal it gets too hot/too cold for them.

this is as good as getting muck delivered – am now ridiculously over-excited!!!

I've just got a shed on my plot and am really excited about it.
The people I work with think I am very sad to get so extatic about a shed
but they don't know how great it is do they?
I think that they may stop taking the mick in about a months time.

I am with you on that Big Al - my boss thinks i am having some sort of break down as I seem to talk a load of muck (horse and cow) and keep asking if anyone has a shed they do not need.

I feel so at home on this forum as at least we can understand each others needs and highs and lows

well done Norfolklass very envious of your great gift
happy potting !  ;D :D

Try your local Freecycle.I have seen a number of greenhouses offered for free, just needing to be dismantled and taken away.

I got mine in January and I'm still excited about it!
Yours sounds really good and it's amazing how much stuff you can get in there.  ;)

I took my next door neighbour's 6x4 greenhouse down yesterday. It's sitting in his garden. It's free, just take it away....it's a Belgium address tho.

this thread has had me in stitches.  Everyone at work EXPECTS me to be excited about poo, or a wee bit of sun!  they all laugh that i've got the removed panels from the smoking shelter in my back garden awaiting some brilliant flash of inspiration to turn it into a lean-to/cloche !

BUT i have a convert !  only in a small way, but it's progress.  i have a spider plant on my desk and my (male) colleague asked me if i had another (i had).  we now having matching spider babies to soak up the computer nasties.  he keeps asking me when to water it.  the two are called Ren & Stimpy !
