The Bullfinches are beautiful birds.  whenever some visit me I make sure I take the time to watch them.  They usually strip the pyracantha berries but take a few days, so enjoy seeing them at least a few days in a year.   :D :D :D

I,v just realized reading the last 2 postings i havn,t seen any finches this year :'(
the bull and greenfinches are missing I am wondering ifit is anything to do with all the work on the local railway embankment!! they have cleared all the small trees and bushes away and put tons of gravel there to strenthen the banks it ,s horrible
but our local MP says it,s needed and is campaining to have some greenery put back  well i think i,v anwered my question about the lack of seed eating birds don,t you I just hope they have found somewhere else to nest

The bull finches were back again today at 7.25.am. OH managed to get a photo of them both together on the nyger seed feeder. We just need to work out how to post them.
