Digging
« on: March 02, 2007, 11:29:39 »
Got  a  Plot  last year  and  completely  removed all roots  and burn`t them.
Now  started  digging this year  and found now, only mainly Grass overgrown.
When digging to one spit depth, should I remove grass by just turning it over   and leaving it. Will leaving these roots,  Die off , or will they re establish.
At  the moment  I am digging it up and removing all the roots--but it takes so long-- 10 ft  x 4 ft took me 1.5 hrs --phew

Its simply a case of the more weeding you do now means the less you have to do later.

And let me point out this; if weeding later the weed roots may well be entangled in the roots of what you are growing.

I guess you have got my drift!!
