i am saving all the emails and letters and will respond individually when i have more time

Will (Sarah's son)

Will, please don't even think of individual responses, either to emails or letters - enough that your Mum gets all our love and messages and that's the main thing ....like seed-giving really; given freely and nothing expected in return :)

Look after yourself,

Lishka x

Great idea to put all the messages on one card. Sprout will then be able to see them all together. Love to you Will,
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Thanks Georgie, Tim and Will . And Will,  as Lishka said, don't feel like you have to respond to all the messages individually!

lots of love

I know I have missed the post, but will put this up anyway. I had a truly memorable day in Peterborough when I visited you Sarah, one of life's treasures. My thoughts are with you.

I'm new(ish) to a4a but SS has already sent me a message of encouragement and answered some of my (many) questions.

I just wanted to say - keep your pecker up- I had cancer over six years ago now, and now I've been discharged from my oncologist. I don't know any details about specifics, but things have really come on in medicine. Saying that, my hubby's auntie had breast cancer nearly 30 years ago, had a mastectomy but no follow up treatment at all, and she's fighting fit!!! Treatment worked in those days too!! She does swear by her lottie grown veggies though!!!

I also just wanted to mention Will. In my experience (I've had both sides of the coin, suffering from cancer myself, and also my mum and sister having had it), it can be very hard on those around you. I hope you have lots of support Will. Sometimes those that aren't suffering themselves, but very close to the sufferer is the forgotten victim in cancer. I don't want to push anything at you, but I found that cancer bacup (you can google it) has a helpline with fantastic staff.

All the family truly are in my thoughts. I'm sure you'll be back on your feet in no time SS, but until then, get reading up on all those gardening books, you never know, there just MIGHT be something in there that you haven't tried growing before  ;D

Jo.
