I've just purchased a 2yr old 6ft self fertile queen cox apple bush on a m26 rootstock and planted it, it has 10 branches. Does anyone think i will get fruit this year or have i got to wait a few years. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You'll probably have to wait a year or two, if my experience is anything to go by.

I bought three apple trees in october 2005 and had tons of apples in all three by July 2006. So you might be lucky this year (unlikely but not impossible). Should get them next year for sure I should think.
When planting I put a lot of well rotted manure and bonemeal under mine and I think that helped.

An apple tree on M26 rootstock normally bears fruit after 3/4 years.
I personally would not want fruit on a two year old tree, as at this stage it needs to be putting it's energy into growing and not producing fruit.

Even if it's labelled as a self fertile variety, it'll fruit better in future years if you get another apple tree which flowers at the same time. Unless of course there are lots of apple trees nearby. This Queen Cox (below) is about 6 years old, planted alongside a Winter Gem, and does quite well. Bought as a 2 year old and trained as an espalier, it started fruiting at 4 years and gave a really good crop last year.
