Hi guys just started making an online blog about our allotment site and the things we are getting up to the site shall be updated weekly, at the minute parts are still under construction but 85% is there.

You're right about pigeon damage. We got away with it this year on my site, but that's most unusual. We don't get it till there's a cold spell, then after a while they realise there's a feast there, and they become a major pest for the rest of the winter.

we are based on an allotment site in kingsthorpe my fiancee and i. Thats my fture wife in her lovely wellies enjoying turning over her compost bin :-)

thanks for all the nice comments, the site will be updated weekly (as long as we keep doing things down the lottie that is)

thanks so much for the kind comments the plot is just 10 pole, and is just 1 day a week currently, and the lottie is just such a nice varaiation from the working week.

hopefully the hints and tips page shall be live tonight or tommorow.

Just to let you guys know weve now completed the hints and tips page for this month, let us know what you think, my fiance is going to start working on having her planting and rotation plans for 2006 and 2007 available on there soon too.

Looks good. I like your tip of the month section. I started mine with Yahoo but am having difficulty posting pictures where I want them on the page.
